Weeeeee Bars
Aight so today I added a new piece to the game.
What i'm talking about is the notion of "Weeeeee" bars. Before this update, there was a simple timer that just kept ticking and once you pressed the X button (ps4 controller), you'd move forward faster (relative to the boat).
So in essence, a Weeeeee is simply a dash or boost kind of thing.
I thought about how I was going to make the score system more interesting at the moment and I thought about improving the way the player can move around in the game first before adding any sort of new scoring code. Aka I think adding complexity around the already programmed and fine enough working score system will make the score system itself more fun by making the rest of the game more fun to play!
This is all me going under assumptions about how most people do it so I wouldn't take this advice as some lecture advice or something unless it's trial-able and tested well to actually prove this does indeed make a game more fun (already have enough false info out there, it'd be dope af to spread less imo :]) or like the method i'm using where you just make the rest of the game more fun to make older systems more fun too.
