New Score System Update
Did quite a huge change right now where I rewrote the scoring system.
The reason why was that the old system was just based on if you had complete duplicate rotation values in some old buffer when compared to the current buffer that is storing rotation values.
The older way of doing things wasn't very great due to a two major factors (can't think of any others right now):
A: I was determining the rotation's sameness by value and since quaternions have double cover, ie they can rotate 760 degrees where the first 360 are the exact same visually as the next 360, you were able to do the exact same visual rotations and get a lot of score easily.
B: I didn't have a complex method of scoring the player. So I didn't have any sort of modifier(s) or things that were similar. It was literally if the rotation existed in teh old buffer, remove some score. Really nice for simplicity but I learned that I needed to make this system more complex to give you, the player, some more enjoyment (or i'm actually having fun right now playing the game so please let me know if you're enjoying it too!)
The new system is one I don't want to spoil entirely for ya'lls so I won't be going over it but it's probably easy to imagine what I've done based on what I wrote above ;)
Bottomline though, is that it's more complex. Seriously do post on what you like more or less about the new system if you played some older builds of the game (you can also get older builds on my GameJolt page since they seem to have archived the older builds(??) or just msg me and I can pull an old build and send you one).
